31 Jul 2017

An educational workshop for Australia and New Zealand was conducted by Professor Stricker and Professor Shnier at St Vincent's. Techniques in reading MRIs and performing MR-targeted fusion biopsy transperineally were taught to urologists throughout Australia and New Zealand.

MR-targeted fusion is now a standard of care, particularly through the transperineal root making it both accurate and safe. Dr Stricker is one of the pioneers of this in Australia and New Zealand and has instructed his colleagues in the technique.
