Erection preservation in robotic prostate surgery

31 Jul 2017

Professor Stricker gave a presentation on his technique of preserving potency in robotic nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy at the Sydney Robotics Summit Conference on 24 June 2017

Professor Stricker has now been performing the operation for 12 years, one of the longest experiences in Australasia and has been working to maximise potency preservation during that whole time.  Some of the techniques of preservation including nerve-sparing techniques and  arterial preservation were demonstrated and the lecture was very well received.
